Established in 2000 , ADJA calls the small coastal town of Liverpool, Nova Scotia, home.
Andrew produces one of a kind and small production run jewellery on site in a variety of materials from silver, copper, found objects to gold and gemstone pieces. Gold mokume gane wedding band sets are made to order. The nature found all around heavily influences his paintings and sculpture.
His work can be found in private collections across North America , Europe and as far away as New Zealand, including the private collection of former Governor General of Canada Adrienne Clarkson. Andrew had a piece included in the Lark Books publication 500 Necklaces and has been recognized by the Nova Scotia Government for his contribution to art and craft in the province (April 3rd 2013 resolution #108)

Custom Goldsmithing
One of the special aspects of jewellery is the personal nature of adornment. Jewellery worn for life’s milestones and remembrance are as important as jewellery given as tokens of love. Custom wedding bands can signify the uniqueness of the love shared between two individuals. Inherited jewellery can be reworked using its metal and stones to make a contemporary piece or one that is more fitting to one’s personality and taste, but still retaining the sentimentality of Great Grandma’s diamond. A widow or widower may wish to have their wedding rings made into one ring to carry their loved one with them metaphorically. Sometimes a client comes up with a jewellery idea that they feel defines them but they cannot find it in the mass produced jewellery world because of their individuality.
That is where the custom goldsmith comes in to make your visions a reality and this is why of all the things done at ADJA, custom work is by far the most important and fulfilling.
